Yak Confirm No Plans For Further Music

Yak confirm no plans of further music.

The uncertainty arrived with fans when vocalist of the alternative rock group, Oli Burslem stated on stage at The Joiners earlier this weekend that this would be their last time playing Southampton.

He before specified in our interview, “This is going to be our last tour for a long time. We’ve all personally got stuff we need to sort out to get ourselves back on our feet,”.

Burslem expanded,

“We use all of our resources, personal and financial, to make the band work and I think it’s about time we all sort ourselves out; like where we are living….focus on personal endeavours and what we want to achieve outside of the band”.

The news comes just a few weeks following the release of the Wolverhampton trio’s E.P Atlas Complex and the release earlier this year of their second L.P. Pursuit of Momentary Happiness. The band formed in 2014 and have received a tremendous amount of support from the music industry due to their original and exciting sound.

“It’s going to be interesting. We all want to do certain things. It might be the case that some point in the future we all want to do this crazy thing again but it might not be. But once we’ve sorted personal things in that respect, I don’t know, maybe the music will start.”

When asked to confirm whether there were no plans of further music, Burslem stated, “Not between the three of us, no”.
