The World is On Standstill: Rock Music Isn’t.
Little Thief Release New Single

Self-isolation is fucking hard. How do people keep motivated? I’m seeing Spotify playlists from people that I just, Don’t. Want. To. Listen. To, I’m painting walls in the house so I have something different to look at each day. Heck, I’m even considering cutting the lawn with a pair of scissors JUST TO PASS THE TIME.

Throughout the lock down, many bands have postponed shows, album releases and events (all for valid reason). HOWEVER, Bristolian alt-rockers Little Thief are exploiting this time to provide us with some proper rock.
Thank God.

Their new single, ‘All Our Sins’ is the latest release from the group following their previous single, ‘Doctor’ which was only released last month and was dedicated to “all the Doctors and Nurses out there constantly putting themselves on the line”. The motivation behind Little Thief is reinforced by the close distance between these two singles and is proof that just because the world has come to a standstill, it doesn’t mean rock music has to.

Produced by Stew Jackson (Massive Attack) and recorded at Rockfield Studios, the new track combines rock and dance tempos that explode with sass. It’s a rock construction that just keeps getting bigger and knows no limits. The consistent drum pulse underneath the musical layers encourages the dance element of this track and is perfectly complimented by the guitar melodies. “For all our sins and wicked ways, And for all our kinks and wasted days. All is love, And love is here to stay”, Charlie Fitzgerald chants throughout the alarmingly catchy chorus as the moment emits a QOTSA musk.

It’s easy to slip into the habit of doing nothing. In fact, a lot of us deserve a break. But in terms of music, it’s the push to keep things rolling that will see us through this weird moment in history. Little Thief are here to offer you some inspiration to keep the churn of rock belters moving.

The almighty presence of Little Thief in a time like this is welcomed with open arms and is quite possibly the only thing that can keep us sane. Plus, if I do get round to cutting the grass, this will undeniably be my first choice of track to listen to.
