Manchester's Hottest New Band Drop New Single
Sounding as if they have just stepped fresh from late 70's CBGBs, Manchester trio The C33s return with brand new single 'Harpurhey Hostility'.
The band remain firm with their B52's influence as well as adding their own garage and surfer twangs. However, this new tune brings a fresh Electric Six charm and vocals that represent the band's newest influence, Thee Oh Sees. After The C33s introductory EP in 2018, the band are staying true to their style that replicates a pop-infused Ramones with glitches of X-ray Spex whilst their most recent influences are helping them mould their unique sound. In their live shows also, the trio are a force to be reckoned with. The magnetism is captivating and they manage to wonderfully capture that excitement in their raw and energy-packed recordings with their unpolished producing that perfectly represents who they are.
This song is the soundtrack to when you used to run from the cops as a kid. It captures that youthful, reprobate nostalgia and makes you want to smash your bedroom up.
